Richard Stone FCA FCCA
Richard qualified as a chartered accountant in 1989 after being trained by a medium sized accountancy practice based in Clifton in Bristol. Richard then set up in practice in 1991 with a colleague before branching out and setting up Stone & Co. in 1998. Richard is responsible for strategic planning, corporate finance and specialist business and tax planning.
Outside of the office, Richard’s main interest is sport. Over the years he has played, coached and managed football, rugby, cricket and hockey teams. Nowadays he follows his children around the country watching them play sport.

Joe Ottway FCCA
Joe joined Stone & Co in 2007 and heads up the Management Accounting team and also covers Corporate Accounting including forensic accounting.
Joe has been a keen sportsman, however this has now been restricted to running and playing squash. Despite this Joe remains highly competitive.
Adrian Webb BA (Hons) FCCA
Adrian joined Stone & Co in 2007. Whilst covering Management and Corporate Accounting Adrian also has detailed specialist knowledge in VAT.
Adrian is kept busy entertaining his three young children. He is also a regular at Ashton Gate watching Bristol City!
Rachael Nunn ACCA BA (Hons)
Rachael joined Stone & Co in 2012. She specialises in Corporate Accounting, business set ups and PAYE and Employment matters.
Outside of the office Rachael is pursuing her interest in painting and is also a keen baker – regularly providing the office with her (famous) chocolate brownies!
Jack Townsend ACCA MMATH (HONS)
Jack has been working as an accountant since 2011 and qualified with the ACCA in 2014. He has been with the team since 2015.
Jack is a rugby and fitness enthusiast and attends numerous exercise clubs and had taken part in several local runs. He enjoys exploring new places and cultures and is currently learning Romanian - ce pot sa fac?*

Mike Peach FCCA
Mike joined the firm in 2015 and outside of work is kept busy with family life, music and travelling.
Sam Bazzard BSc (Hons)
Sam joined Stone & Co in November 2017 having previously worked for firms in North Devon and HM Revenue & Customs in Bristol. He is currently training towards his ACCA qualification.
Outside of work Sam enjoys playing a variety of card and board games. He is also an avid fan of Plymouth Argyle.
Stuart Curtis AAT, ATT
Stuart joined Stone & Co in February 2018 with over 7 years' experience in Corporate accounts.
Stuart specialises in Cloud Accountancy packages and is Xero Certified.
Cheryl Wookey
Cheryl joined Stone & Co in 2016 as the office assistant.
Outside of the office Cheryl enjoys running, yoga and spending time with her family.
Lynn Wait
Lynn joined Stone & Co in 2018 as the office assistant.
Outside of the office she is a keen caravanner, touring around mainly Devon. She is also an animal lover and has a big white German Shepherd dog who takes up most of her spare time.
Jack Horler
Jack joined us in early 2022 and helps assist our personal tax clients and also prepares accounts, VAT returns and payroll.
Outside of the office, Jack leads a very active and busy life; playing football, carp fishing and looking after his two young boys.
